Tyler's Right Hand

Tyler Wallace has spent the past 25 years painting daily. He is self taught; "I learned by attrition", he claims.

Tyler has painted daily on the streets of every major city in North America, Europe and Africa. His art hangs in many homes around the world.

Extensive travel in Europe and Northern Africa honed his light and colour skills.

Tyler is now living on Bowen Island and calls Bowen Island home.

He currently has a studio on Island while living on his classic wooden boat, Maredea, a 36' Lapworth which he is restoring . As boats have been a big part of his life, he finds himself painting them quite a lot. As the yachts roll in, he gathers many commissions to paint them.

When interviewed and asked how long it takes him to do a painting he replied casually, "25 YEARS".
